Collard Green Fry  


Collards are a healthy to our daily diet. They contain no fat or cholesterol. They are popularly used in many regions currently. This is the first time I made it which I feel you also like it.


Serving Size: 2

Cooking Time: 35 mins


  1. 1 pound Collard Green
  2. 2 Garlic Cloves
  3. Salt to taste
  4. 1 Onion
  5. 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
  6. 1 tsp Red Pepper

Cooking Procedure:

Take 1 Pound of Collard.


Cut off the stem of the leaves.


Cut leaves into small pieces.


Cut onion and garlic into small pieces.


Heat oil in pan then add mustard seeds to crackle in oil. Then add onion and garlic . Fry it until it brown.


Then add Collard and fry it well until it is tender as collard leaves are very hard in texture. Add water as required. After that cover the lid with all the spices for about 5-10 mins.


Serving Suggestion:

Preparation is ready to serve with rice.
