Bok Choy Fry  


Bokchoy is a popular greenleaf vegetable which is used in many chinese dishes. It has a sweet flavour and good for healthy dietary.When purchasing bok choy, make sure you select stalks that are white and firm.

Serving Size: 2

Cooking Time: 30 mins


  1. 2 Bunches Bok choy
  2. Salt to taste
  3. 1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  4. 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  5. 1 Red Pepper
  6. Sugar to taste
  7. 2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes

Cooking Procedure:


Wash the bok choy and pat it dry.


Separate the stalks and leaves. Cut the stalk and leaves across. Wash it and pat it dry.


Cut Red Pepper into lengthwise.


Heat oil in pan then add ginger garlic paste to crackle in oil. Add the stalks


And  leaves and Red Pepper. Fry it. Then add all the spices with soy sauce. Add water as required. Cover the lid for 5-10 mins.


Serving Suggestion:

Serve it hot with white rice

    I just discovered your site an found all my favorite items are listed here, I don’t have to visit anywhere else. Awesome, just few cases more than 4/5 steps would be much easier. How come arimili being the site name.. is this Arindam & Mili… and are you guys in USA… I hope so as BokChoy may not be listed elsewhere.

    Good job, keep it up. My son Google just said Dad, why didn’t you write “you did great instead of Good Job”… so yes you have done a fantastic collection of Bengali dishes.

      Good to know that you found what you were looking for. I’ll post more of the recipes in coming days. … also you guessed it right.
      Just one thing, can you be more clear on this “just few cases more than 4/5 steps would be much easier” ? Any feedback is welcome.
