Sorshe Tilapia

It is very easy to prepare this dish. We Bengali heard about Shorshe Hilsa . It is same like that, just I changed the fish to make it different. As I try to use Tilapia because it is easily available in the market where I stay.

Serving Size: 2

Cooking Time: 30 mins

Ingredients:

  1. 4 Piece of  Tilapia
  2. 1 tbsp Mustard Paste / Seeds
  3. 2-3 Green Chillies
  4. 1/2 Cup Coconut Milk
  5. Mustard Oil
  6. 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  7. Salt to taste

Cooking Procedure:

Take the good pieces of fish . Clean it with water and pat it dry.

Make a paste of  mustard seeds and green chilly

Heat oil in pan and fry the fish little bit. Pour the above paste with slit green chillies, spices and coconut milk. If necessary add little water. Simmer for about 3 – 5 minutes.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve it with rice.
