Lauki Sweet is a very popular sweet in India
Serving Size: 10
Cooking Time: 35 mins
- 1 Lau or Bottle Gourd
- Sugar to taste
- 2 cups Milk
- 1 tsp Cardamom Powder
- 1 tbsp Ghee
- 15 Cashew
- 15 Almonds
- 1 tsp Rose Water
Peel and make a paste of lauki in the mixer.
Crushed cashew and almond in a mixer.
Heat oil in pan then fry the lauki in a tablespoon of ghee for one minute. Then add the milk boil till thick, stirring occassionally. Once it starts thickening, stir continuously. Then add cardamom, crushed cashew and almond. Lastly add sugar, rose water and cook further till thickens. The sweet is done when the mixture is thick enough to draw from the sides and bottom of the pan in a solid mass.
Transfer it in an tray to make it cold.
Cut it into pieces after an hour.
Lauki Ki Sweet is ready.
