Chukukura Pappu, Khatta palak Dal

- 250 gm Toor Dal
- 2 Small Bunches Palak
- 2/3 Curry Leaf
- Salt to taste
- Sugar to taste
- 1 tbsp Turmeric Powder
- Ginger, finely Chopped
- 4 pods Garlic, finely Chopped
- 1 tbsp Mustard Seeds
- 2 Dried Red Chilly
- 1 tbsp Saunf
Take 2 small bunches of Khatta palak
Take out the leaves only. Wash it properly
Keep all the ingredients.
Wash toor dal under water thoroughly. Clean, wash, remove stems of the chukka kura. Pressure cook for 3 whistles.
Heat oil in pan then add mustard seeds, dried red chilly, saunf, curry leaf, ginger and garlic. Stir well. Add the boiled dal. Bring the dal to a bubble and then add all the spices. If the cooked toor dal is too thick pour water.
Preparation is ready to serve with rice.
