How To Make Chilly Chicken – CHILLI CHICKEN  

Chilly Chicken is a spicy main course dish everyone likes to have it in their own way. And without fried rice chilly chicken is incomplete.

Serving Size: 3-4 people

Cooking Time: 45 mins


  • 2 lbs of Boneless Chicken cut into small pieces
  • 3 Green, Yellow and Red Bell Pepper each
  • Chopped Garlic
  • Garlic Paste
  • Chilly Paste
  • Slited Green Chilly
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Eggs
  • Corn Starch
  • Pepper
  • Soya Sauce
  • Vinegar
  • Green Onion
  • White Oil
  • Salt to taste

Cooking Procedure:

  1. First marinate the chicken with garlic paste, green chilly paste, pepper, soya sauce, little bit of vinegar, 2 tsp corn starch, salt and 2 eggs. Mix everything well and keep it in the refrigerator for about an hr.
  2. Then fry the chicken until it is golden brown and crispy. Remove it when done.
  3. Then add the chopped garlic and then add onion . Now add all the bell peppers and stir it well and saute it for about 4-5 min on high heat.
  4. Now add little bit of red chilly sauce, soya sauce and mix it well.
  5. Add water in the corn starch and then mix it well in the kadai. If needed add water for gravy and then again add corn starch to make it thick.
  6. Now add chicken and little bit of salt as per taste and then slited green chillies. Stir it well.
  7. Lastly garnish with green onion.

Serving Suggestion:

Enjoy Chilly Chicken with fried rice or noodles. It took me about 45 mins to prepare this recipe and serves 3-4 people.
