Biriyani is a family of primarily South Asian dishes made from a mixture of spices, rice (commonly basmati), meat/vegetables and yogurt.

Ingredients:
- 500 gm Chicken
- 250 gm Basmati Rice
- 2 tbsp Dahi
- 1 Onion
- 1 Tomato
- 1 Potato
- 1tbsp Chicken Masala
- 1 tbsp BiriyaniMasala
- 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
- Pepper
- 2 Green Chilly
- 1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
Cooking procedure:
Put the onion and green chilly into the the container of a clean coffee grinder. Cut the tomato and Potato into small pieces.
Allow to marinate for a few hours preferably or atleast an hour if in a hurry with salt,turmeric powder,ginger garlic paste, curd, red chilly powder and chicken masala.
In a saute pan heat the oil and add the marinated chicken and fry it. Keep aside.

Heat oil in non stick kadai and add the onion paste to fry until it browns. Then add the biriyani masala , pepper, salt and tomato. After the oil comes out from the masala then add the fried chicken and potato and if necessary little bit of water and fry for 10-15 mins.
Now the chicken is ready .
In a bowl add the basmati rice with water and the above chicken in the microwave for 15 mins .I add the 1 cup basmati rice with 2 cups water. Always make it double
For toppings fry the onion.
