Wood Apple Chutney, Kodbel Makha
There are two varieties of wood apple or Bel. Both have hard shell which must be cracked. one has yellowish pulp and it’s sweeter in taste and the other one has little whitish pulp and sour in taste. The later one is called wood apple or kodbel in Bengali. I made this lip smacking chutney with wood apple.
Cooking Time: 15 mins
- 2 Green Chilly
- Salt to taste
- Sugar to taste
- 2 tbsp Mustard Oil
- 3/4 Lemon Leaf
- 1 Wood Apple
Crack the wood apple (kodbel) and take out the pulp.
Smash the pulp well and mix with above all ingredients. Enjoy the preparation.
