Vermicelli – Simui Payes

Cooking Time: 30 mins

Ingredients:

  1. 1 packet Simui (Sewian)
  2. 2 Cups Milk
  3. 1/2 cup Water
  4. 4-5 whole Cardamom Seeds
  5. Sugar to taste
  6. 50 gm Raisin
  7. 2 tbsp Ghee
  8. 50 gm Cashew

Cooking Procedure:

Fry the sewian, cashew and raisin in hot oil till golden brown.

Heat the milk to boiling and add the sewian. Cook till the milk is reduced by half. Add sugar, cardamom seeds and cook on slow fire till creamy, about 25 minutes.

Serve hot or cold.
