Smashed Potato with Pickle  


 This is a very popular Bengali recipe. In Bengali it is called “Achar Diye Alu Bhathe“. Whenever I got tired from my work I always try to make this recipe as it is very simple and easy to prepare.

Serving Suggestion: 2

Cooking Time: 15 mins


  1. 2  Medium Size Potatoes
  2. Salt to taste
  3. 1 tsp Pickle
Cooking Procedure:
Cut potatoes into two pieces.


 Boil it in pressure cooker for about 1 whistle or you can Microwave as well. Then peel the potato skin.


Take 1 tsp mango pickle or you can take only pickle oil. Then mix mango pickle, boiled potatoes, and salt in a bowl.


Serving Suggestion:

Serve it with hot white rice and dal.
