Pumpkin Curry, Kumror Chokka  


You’ll love the  taste of this curry, as well as it’s a healthy recipe. This is completely vegetarian recipe. This is a most common recipe of pumpkin in Bengal.

Serving Size: 2
Cooking Time: 30 mins
  1. 1 Small pie Pumpkin
  2. 1 Potato
  3. 1 Bayleaf
  4. 1 Dried Red Chilly
  5. 25 gm Coconut ( Cut into small pieces )
  6. 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  7. 50 gm Chick Peas
  8. 1 tsp Cumin Powder
  9. 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  10. 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Sugar to taste

Cooking procedure:

Dice Potatoes and Pumpkins


Take Bay leaf, Dried Red Chilly, Coconut and Chick Peas


Heat oil in pan add bay leaf, Red Chilly Powder and cumin seeds to crackle in oil. Pour Potato and fry it. Then add Chick Peas


Add Pumpkin and lastly all the spices with water.Cover the lid for 5-7 mins


Serving Suggestions:

Now preparation is ready to serve with white rice and Dal.
