Potol Posto With Sarson
I would just love to have it once more. Potol Posto is a common popular dish among Bengalis. Fried Potol is dipped into Poppy Seed paste.

Cooking Time: 35 mins
1. 7 Potol ( Parwal)
2. 1 tsp Mustard Seed ( Black Sarson )
3. 3 tbsp Posto
4. 3 Green Chillies
5. 1/2 cup shredded Coconut
6.Salt to taste
7.Sugar to taste
8. Mustard Oil
Soak Mustard Seed and Poppy Seed at least for 6 hours. Mix soaked Poppy seed , Mustard seed , Coconut , Green chillies and little bit of water
Cut the Parwal in both side half way through without cutting into halves.
Light fry Parwal in semi heat. Keep it aside.
In kadai heat oil then add the fried Parwal and pour the prepared paste on top of it. Add salt and sugar. If necessary add little bit of water.
Serve Potol Posto hot with white rice.
