Patisapta Pithe  


It is a very commonly pithe among all. It is made during Sankranti.  Patishapta is basically a rice flour crepe stuffed with jaggery . Enjoy.

Cooking Time: 30 mins


  1. 1 Cup Rice Flour
  2. 1 Cup Flour
  3. Milk
  4. Sugar to taste
  5. 50 gm Jaggery (Gur )
  6. 50 gm Cashew
  7. 2 tbsp Milk Made
  8. 2 tbsp Ghee
  9. White Oil

Cooking Procedure:

In a kadai pour ghee then gur, sugar and milk made. Stir well. Remove from heat. Let it cool.


Mix rice flour,  flour, and milk into a smooth batter. Grease the pan with white oil. Drop 2 tbsp. of the  batter into the greased pan and move it in a circular motion so that the batter takes a round shape. Allow the batter to set. Put 1 tbsp. of filling on one side of it and roll over to the other end.


Serving Suggestions:

Serve hot or cold.
