Onion Posto Fry, Piyaj Posto  


This was a simple variation of cooking, all loved it.

Serving Size: 2

Cooking Time: 20 mins



  1. 1 Onion
  2. 2 tbsp Poppy Seeds
  3. Green Chilly
  4. Salt
  5. Sugar
  6. Mustard Oil
  7. Turmeric Powder

Cooking procedure:

Chop the Onion into small pieces.
Put the poppy seeds and green chilly into the the container of a clean coffee grinder or other spice grinder.

Heat oil in kadai then pour onion until it browns then little bit of salt and sugar to taste and turmeric powder . Add the above paste and fry for 5-10 mins.

Serving Suggestions:

Preparation is ready . Serve with hot rice .
