Ol Kopi – Kholrabi Torkari  


Olkopi is known as Kohlrabi. It is easily available in the market. I hope you all will like this dish.

Cooking Time: 30 mins


  1. 1 Medium Size Olkopi / Kohlrabi
  2. 20 gm Green Peas
  3. 1 Medium Size Potato
  4.  20 gm Chick Peas
  5. 1 Tomato
  6. 1 Bay Leaf
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Sugar to taste
  9. 1tsp  Cumin Powder
  10. 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  11. 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  12. 1 tsp Red Chilly Powder
Cooking Procedure:

Take medium size olkopi.


 Cut the olkopi into small cubes 


 Cut potato and tomato as a same size as olkopi.  


Heat oil and crackle with the  bay leaf and add the potatoes and olkopi.  Fry till the potatoes and olkopi begin to tender. Then add green peas and chick peas . Stir it and cover the lid for 5 -8 mins.  Add the  cumin and coriander powder, turmeric and red chilli powder. Then add salt and sugar to taste and continue to stir.  Add chopped tomato. When oil starts to release add water as required and cover and cook till it is done .

Serving Suggestion:

 Enjoy with rice and dal or also goes well with roti.
