Loita (Bombay Duck) Fish Curry  


It is a hot and spicy dish.

Cooking Time: 25 mins


  1. 200 gm Loita Fish
  2. 1 Onion
  3. Salt
  4. Ginger
  5. 3/4 Cloves Garlic, finely chopped
  6. 2 Green Chilly
  7. 1 Tomato
  8. 1 tbsp Cumin Powder
  9. 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
  10. 1 tsp Sugar
  11. 1 tbsp Turmeric Powder

Cooking Procedure:

Make a paste of tomato, onion and green chilly


Marinate fish with salt and turmeric powder


Light fry the fish. Put rest of the oil then add garlic with the above paste. Pour the spices after the oil comes out from the masala then water. Add fish pieces into it for boiling and let it simmer for few minutes.


Serving Suggestions:

Serve it with rice.
