Wood Apple Chutney – Kodbel Makha  

There are two varieties of wood apple or Bel. Both have hard shell the sweeter Bel has yellowish pulp and the Wood Apple or Kodbel has little whitish pulp and sour in taste.  


  •  Wood Apple
  • Pinch of Salt
  • Green Chillies
  • 2 tsp of Sugar
  • 2 Lime Leaves
  • 1 tbsp Mustard oil

Cooking Procedure:

  1.  Break wood apple and scoop out the pulp.
  2. Add all the ingredients: pinch of salt, green chillies, sugar, lime leaves, and mustard oil. Then mix it well and enjoy.
