Kamranga (Star Fruit) Chutney  


A chutney in the bengali context is a sweetened relish.It is served towards the end of the meal

Serving Size: 2

Cooking Time: 20 mins


  1. 2/3 Kamranga / Star fruit
  2. 1 tbsp Saunf
  3. 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  4. A pinch of Salt
  5. 5/6 tbsp Sugar

Cooking Procedure:

Take the good pieces of kamranga


Cut lengthwise.


Heat oil in pan then add saunf to crackle in oil. Pour the kamranga and fry it little bit. Add all the spices with water. Cover the lid for 5-8 mins.


Serving Suggestions:

Preparation is ready to serve after meal.
