Arbi also called as Colocasia Root in English. This curry really tastes good. Kachur mukhi is used in Bengali recipes in various forms. It looks somewhat similar to potatoes and it has lots of starch in it. I am sure you will like it.

Ingredients:
250 gm Kachur Mukhi
1 Potato
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
1 Tomato
1 tsp Cumin Powder
1 tsp Coriander Powder
Salt to taste
Sugar to taste
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
2-3 Green Chilly
50 gm Chick Peas
Cooking procedure:
Cut the kachurmuki , potato and tomato into small pieces.
Soak the Chick peas overnight.
Put jeera to crackle in oil then add cumin , coriander powder, salt, sugar , turmeric powder and tomato.
Add the boiled potato , kachurmukhi and Chick peas . Let it cook for 5 to 6 minutes or until they are tender (stir once or twice in between) and cover it back until they are tender. If necessary add water.
