Dimer Kosha, Bengali Egg Curry  


I am very much fond of egg. I always love to eat egg. It’s very simple and easy to make this recipe. This is a spicy curry goes well with rice or roti.

Cooking Time: 35 mins


  1. 4 Egg
  2. 2 Onion
  3. 2 Tomato
  4. Curry Leaves
  5. 2 Green Chilly
  6. 1 tbsp Red Chilly Powder
  7. Salt to taste
  8. 1 tbsp Tomato Sauce
  9. Sugar
  10. 1 tbsp Cumin Powder
  11. 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
  12. 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste

Cooking Procedure:

Chop onion, tomato, green chilly and curry leaves.


Boil the egg and mix the cumin coriander powder with ginger garlic paste in a bowl.


Slit the eggs length wise with a knife if you like it. Light fry the egg and keep it aside.


Heat oil in pan then add the chopped onion. Fry it until it brown. Pour the above mixture with tomato and tomato sauce.


Stir well . Add green chilly and curry leaves. If necessary add little water. Cover the lid for 5-10 mins. Now add the fried egg.


Serving Suggestions:

Serve it with rice or roti.
