
A great smell from the kitchen tells you that your Doi Rui is done. This recipe is yogurt based, and the taste is little sweet. This Bengali recipe is a delicacy on special occasions.

Ingredients :
- 250 gm Rohu Fish
- 2 tbsp Dahi
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 1 Onion
- 2 Green chilly
- 2 tbsp White Oil
- Salt to taste
- Sugar to taste
Cooking procedure:
Put the onion and green chilly into the the container of a clean coffee grinder.
Take the fish pieces and clean it with water pat it dry.
Heat oil in non stick kadai and shallow fry the fish.
Keep aside the fish pieces. Put rest of the oil in the kadai and put the cumin seeds and mustard seeds to crackle in oil. Add onion paste and fry it until it browns then add dahi . Salt and sugar should be added according to one’s taste.
Serving Suggestions:
Serve it with hot Rice.
