Brinjal Bhate, Begun Pora  


This is a spicy kind of dish . All Bengalis loves to have this dish with rice or rooti in dinner. Whenever I don’t feel to make something in dinner I always try to make this simple and easy dish.

Serving Size: 2

Cooking Time: 30 mins


  1. 1 Small Size Brinjal
  2. Salt to taste
  3. 1 Onion
  4. 2/3 Green Chilly
  5. Coriander Leaves
  6. Mustard Oil

Cooking Procedure:

Take a good piece of  Brinjal. Make hole with knife .


Cut onion, green chilly and coriander leaves  into small pieces


Rub the brinjal with mustard oil. Heat brinjal directly in gas flame or put it in oven in 400 F.


After heating properly take it out.


Peel off the outer layer of brinjal . Mix well.


Serving Suggestions:

Preparation is ready to serve with rooti.
