
This is a typical bengali cuisine very tasty yet not spicy at all. Even children can have as it has only one main bone and no small bones. Its also a full meal as cooked with vegetables. Bacha fish is also known as Muribacha or Garua Bachcha in English.

Ingredients:
- 250 gm Bacha Fish
- 5 -7 Bori Pieces
- 1 Eggplant
- 1 Potato
- Salt to taste
- Sugar to taste
- 1 tsp Cumin Powder
- 1 tsp Coriander Powder
- Coriander Leaves
- 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 Tomato
- 1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 2-3 Green Chillies
- 1 tsp Kalonji
Cooking Procedure:
Marinate fish with turmeric powder and salt for 10 mins.

Shallow fry fish and keep it aside.

Heat oil in skillet to fry all the vegetables and bori separately and keep it aside. Fry kalonji and green chilly to crackle in oil . Add ginger garlic paste and fry it until little brown. Add chopped tomato and stir it with all the spices. Fry it then add potatoes . Add water as required.

Add fish, eggplant and bori. Gradually pour water as required. Cook in covered the lid for 5-7 mins.

Serving Suggestion:
Serve it hot with rice.
