Bengali Aloo Posto Fry  

Aloo Posto is a delicious & popular traditional bengali recipe.  In this simple recipe, potatoes are fried with Poppy Seeds.


Serving Size: 2

Cooking Time: 15 mins


  1. 2 Aloo (Potato)
  2. 2 tsp Posto ( Poppy Seed)
  3. Salt
  4. Sugar
  5. 1 tsp Red Chilly Powder
  6. White Oil

Cooking procedure:

Cut the Potatoes into small pieces.


Heat the kadai with white oil then add potato with salt and pinch of sugar till it boil then give poppy seeds and red chilly powder and fry it for 5-7 mins in low heat.



Serving Suggestions:

Serve hot with white rice and dal.
