Bengali Vegetable Chop

There’s only one vegetable I truly dislike, so I made a vegetable chop .Its really very very tasty. You all will like it. My mom always make it at home as she don’t like to have street food.

Serving Size: 2

Cooking Time : 30mins

Ingredients :

  1. 300 gm Beet
  2. 300 gm Carrot
  3. 200 gm Potato
  4. 50 gm Roasted Peanuts
  5. Bread Crumbs as required
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Sugar to taste
  8. Bhaji masala ( Roasted 1 tsp Cumin Seeds and 1 tsp Red Chilly Powder)
  9. Flour as required
  10. Besan as required

Cooking Procedure :

Cut potatoes, beet and carrot into small pieces

 Boil all the vegetables and let them cool, Smash the vegetables

 Heat oil in frying pan then add the peanuts with smashed vegetables . Pour bhaji masala with salt and sugar

Let it cool for few mins. Make balls out of this mixture.If required mix little bit flour for making balls

Make a batter of besan with salt . Now dip each of the above-made balls in it. After that coat each ball with the bread crumbs

Then place them in the refrigerator for an hour. Heat the oil in a pan and deep fry each ball till golden brown.

Now preparation is ready to serve with salad
