Kumro Ful Bhaja, Pumpkin Flower Fry
Kumro Ful Bhaja is a very popular dish in Bengali. But unfortunately I stay in Toronto so I don’t get it very often
Serving Size: 2
Cooking Time: 20 mins
- 10 Kumro Ful / Pumpkin flower
- 1 Cup Besan / Bengal Garam Flour
- 1/2 tbsp Poppy Seeds
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Red Chilly Powder
Take the good pieces of flower.
Remove the stigma, drain off the water.
Make a paste of besan, poppy seeds, salt, red chilly powder, baking powder and water.
Dip the flowers in the above paste and deep fry it.
Serve it hot.
