Green peas Kachori  


Here is one of my favorite dish. This is a recipe stuffed with green peas. It is a famous and all Bengali loves to have it. It is a small deep fried bread made with white flour (maida).

Serving Size: 2
Cooking Time: 30 mins
  1. 300 gm Flour
  2. 50 gm Green Peas
  3. 1 tsp Baking Powder
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Sugar to taste
  6. 1 tsp Asafoetida
  7. 1 tsp Cumin Powder
  8. 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  9. 1 tsp Red Chilly Powder

Cooking procedure:


Make a paste of Green Peas with Green Chilly


 Pan Fry Cumin, Coriander and Dried Red Chilly Powder


Heat oil in kadai then put asafoetida. Then add the paste of Green peas. Gradually add fried  Coriander, cumin and Red chilly Powder. Put sugar and salt according to taste


 Once the filling is ready keep it to cool down . Now  make a dough of flour adding a pinch of baking powder and salt and a table spoon of hot white oil. As the dough is ready make it a small ball and put a small amount of filling.


The ball with the filling is ready.


Now with a belan chaki flatten these balls into round shape with a diameter of approx. 4 inches each . Deep fry it

Serving Suggestions:

Serve it with chana dal
